Chandigarh, May 17

Unemployment, lack of industry, road network, drug abuse and sacrilege incidents figure high in the list of issues discussed in the Khadoor Sahib constituency.

The main fight is between Congress’ Jasbir Singh Dimpa, SAD’s Bibi Jagir Kaur and PDA’s Paramjit Kaur Khalra.

While Khalra is seeking votes on the alleged human rights abuse during terrorism days, Jagir Kaur is focusing mainly on “anti-incumbency” factor.

However, due to the division between Akali votes after its senior leader Ranjit Singh Brahmpura and Rattan Singh Ajnala formed Akali Dal (Taksali), the Congress is sniffing a chance in the constituency.
